Where To Eat in Megamall & Podium!

April 26, 2018

OMG! Today, my friends and I went to a Barangay Hall somewhere in Mandaluyong, but I will not get into details with that!
What I'll be talking more for this post are food I've eaten the whole day. These are cheap discoveries and they're really really good!
We spent the afternoon at this tea house called Khun Thai Tea(Megamall). It's one of the cheapest milk tea I've tried, plus it tastes really good!
It has that authentic thai milk tea, close enough, but it will do for its price at 85php for a large cup! They have fruit teas as well,
but I ordered the Thai Milk Tea.

For dinner, we went to Tori Chizu, it's a newly opened japanese inspired fast food restaurant in Megamall. I am not paid to say this
but YOU SHOULD VISIT this place! You're getting more than what you paid for. Their prices starts at 145Php for a rice meal. I find it really affordable
for an everyday meal compared to just having a fried chicken from a fastfood chain.

I odered their Broth-Less Ramen(119Php)! It was really interesting because it's a ramen with no soup. Surprisingly, it was good!
                              145Php

For our desserts, we headed to Cinnabon - Podium. It's such a cool place to chill because there is not much people at this mall.
I got the number 2 in their Perfect Pairings--a cup of latte and a plate of minichocobon for 125Php.

The Coffee Project

February 15, 2018

Remember when I told you guys I love finding new cafes and adding them to my list? Well, I found a new one and it’s the best café I ever visited so far in terms of my standard. I’m so excited to show you guys! Scroll Down!!!

The name of the café is The Coffee Project. It’s a local café that started in 2014 at Starmall-Alabang. The shop offers coffee using different beans that are both sourced locally and from other countries. Recently they opened their Quezon City East branch aka Libis. If you guys remember the Shopwise-Libis, that’s where it’s located.

I ordered the hot café latte and the sausage & garlic pasta in olive oil. Although my favorite was probably the Sardine Pasta that has right amount of saltiness.

The café have lots of sockets so you don’t have to worry looking for power when your gadget is about to die. And my favorite part of course is their FAST INTERNET! I tried a speedtest and got 120mbs on download!

We also visited Bake My Day that have nice-looking pastries and more!

The Coffee Project was surprisingly near my area, so I guess I’'ll be visiting this café more often.

We were guests of The Coffee Project, however all thoughts, are my own.

Glasshouse Cafe

January 03, 2018

New Year means time for new adventures! And that also includes my hunt for new cafes in town that offers not just aesthetically pleasing interiors but with a character as well. So my friend sent me a link to this newly opened café that looks like you’re not in Manila. We then decided to hit the café the day after next.

I really had high hopes for photos sent to me was actually nice without even the post-process. You know what? It did not disappoint me. It’s a glasshouse, so sunlight could actually lit the whole place which is what I really like especially for taking photos. The café is called Harlan + Holden. Which is actually a retail store.
But of course, don’t expect for the food to be cheap or something that you would want to eat at every day. But it’s reasonable. But for the coffee and other beverages, they’re averagely priced like the normal cafes at the mall.
I will definitely revisit this place just for the photos actually because it’s nice. Anyways, my year started right but a little slow or I’m just in a hurry for something nice to happen? Hello, it’s just the 3rd of January. Haha! Btw, I’ve been listing my video ideas for my Youtube channel and will start filming soon(maybe tomorrow?)! I’ll update you once I posted my new videos.

Restaurants I visited for a week!

September 08, 2017

We all love food! and luckily I got invited to a number of food events for the last week and I couldn't be any happier! I've very adventurous when it comes to food, so I would try anything as long as it's not exotic. For this post, I will be showing you all the restaurants I've eaten at for a week that you guys should definitely try as well!

1. Roadster Roaster
Roadster Roasters is a casual Americana-style dining restaurant that very recently opened along Sheridan Street. And it is quickly becoming famous among the young carnivorous population of Mandaluyong and Pasig. Offering a wide-array of scrumptious meat dishes at reasonable prices, Roadster Roasters offers a unique take to all American-barbecues and slow-smoked treats by infusing them with Filipino flavors.

Roadster Roasters’ bestsellers include its Butter Roasted Chicken, Signature Half-Rack Barbecue Pork Ribs with Special Barbecue Sauce which is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE and Texas Style Roasted Beef Brisket, which they roast on low heat for 12 hours to ensure a perfectly juicy, fork-tender consistency. Imagine the luxury of time just to cook the beef brisket which by the way was so good as well.

Roadster Roasters is located on the ground floor of TV5’s Media Center on
Reliance Street, and is open from 11AM to 11PM.

2. Starbuck - Macapagal Blvd. Branch
Okay, I know this is not a restaurant but I included it as well because they just launched they Teavana Frozen Tea series-where the ice is blended with the tea to add texture to your drink. They added a new flavor-Chamomile with Kyoto Grapes and Aloe Gel. It was super refreshing especially for the weather here in Manila.
And of course we have the cult favorite Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls! You can now have the pomegranate pearls on top!

3. Le Petit Souffle

Breakfast food cravings can strike at any point of the day, but there isn’t always a spot that serves it past noon, not to mention one that does it well. For your indulgence, Le Petit Soufflé launches its all-day breakfast dishes for early and late risers alike. No need to set the alarm just to rise up early and grab that brekky!
I had the Breakfast of Champions which was sooooo good! It has a stack of thick-cut bacon, foie gras, red berry fruit compote, and sunny side up egg, tucked in a brioche bun, finished with hollandaise and maple syrup. Everything just blended really well!

4. Banh Mi Kitchen
Of course, no one could serve Banh Mi Sandwiches better that Banh Mi Kitchen! I'm actually a fan of their sandwiches because their sauce just really hit that spot on my palette, plus their crunchy buns is so addicting because it compliments the ingredients used in the sandwich.
They have a new flavor-Buffalo Chicken Chicharrones. Don't forget to do the #CrunchTest!

5. Toast Asian Kitchen & Tasting Room
Toast has always been a favorite of mine when it comes to asian fusion dishes because I like how they are able to innovate their dishes that they truly make their own. My favorite from their signature dish is the Longganisa Pasta because it's so fun to eat how the longganisa bits compliments the pasta.

They launched their new dishes. Check out some photos below.

Toast Kitchen is located at the Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig. You can reserve a table at 02-622-4312

This Is Why You Should Start Eating POKE BOWLS!

August 15, 2017

First, it's pronounced as 'poh-kay" that rhymes with Okay and not that annoying POKE you get on Facebook every once in a while. Poke is the Hawaiian word for "slice" or "cut," so it often includes either small cuts of fresh tuna or octopus.

Poke is a favorite food from Hawaii and has been around for centuries. It's simple but unique, purely addicting plus the fact that it's HEALTHY makes me want to eat more! It's typically seasoned with soy sauce, scallions, and sesame oil but might also include a variety of other seasonings.

So why should you start eating Poke Bowls?

1. Super Nutritious!
It is one of the freshest, tastiest, healthiest new food trends around and is very low in calories! You'll have fun eating it without having the guilt later on why you ate it.

2. Healthy Heart <3
Poke delivers those important omega-3 fatty acids for our heart. Omega-3 protects the heart, and reduce your heart from getting any disease by lowering your blood pressure and heart rate!

3. Perfect for OTGs! (On The Go)
Poke is easy to eat and does not require any effort to put it in your mouth. With just a spoon or chopsticks, you could finish your Poke Bowls even during transit in the car because we know how hard it is to eat inside a moving vehicle, right?

So, where to buy Poke Bowls in Manila?!

Poke Poke launched their 4th branch at the SM Megamall, they are the leading Hawaiian/Asian Fusion fast food restaurant in Metro Manila.

The restaurant is highly regarded for signature Poke bowls such as The Basic, Samurai, and For the Rich Only, which offer diners a new and inventive spin on a much beloved classic.

If you wanna try the Poke Poke which is trendy right now, they also have branches in Estancia Mall, Pasig; SM Aura, Bonifacio Global City; and 8 Missouri St. Greenhills.
