Restaurants I visited for a week!

September 08, 2017

We all love food! and luckily I got invited to a number of food events for the last week and I couldn't be any happier! I've very adventurous when it comes to food, so I would try anything as long as it's not exotic. For this post, I will be showing you all the restaurants I've eaten at for a week that you guys should definitely try as well!

1. Roadster Roaster
Roadster Roasters is a casual Americana-style dining restaurant that very recently opened along Sheridan Street. And it is quickly becoming famous among the young carnivorous population of Mandaluyong and Pasig. Offering a wide-array of scrumptious meat dishes at reasonable prices, Roadster Roasters offers a unique take to all American-barbecues and slow-smoked treats by infusing them with Filipino flavors.

Roadster Roasters’ bestsellers include its Butter Roasted Chicken, Signature Half-Rack Barbecue Pork Ribs with Special Barbecue Sauce which is my ULTIMATE FAVORITE and Texas Style Roasted Beef Brisket, which they roast on low heat for 12 hours to ensure a perfectly juicy, fork-tender consistency. Imagine the luxury of time just to cook the beef brisket which by the way was so good as well.

Roadster Roasters is located on the ground floor of TV5’s Media Center on
Reliance Street, and is open from 11AM to 11PM.

2. Starbuck - Macapagal Blvd. Branch
Okay, I know this is not a restaurant but I included it as well because they just launched they Teavana Frozen Tea series-where the ice is blended with the tea to add texture to your drink. They added a new flavor-Chamomile with Kyoto Grapes and Aloe Gel. It was super refreshing especially for the weather here in Manila.
And of course we have the cult favorite Hibiscus Tea with Pomegranate Pearls! You can now have the pomegranate pearls on top!

3. Le Petit Souffle

Breakfast food cravings can strike at any point of the day, but there isn’t always a spot that serves it past noon, not to mention one that does it well. For your indulgence, Le Petit Soufflé launches its all-day breakfast dishes for early and late risers alike. No need to set the alarm just to rise up early and grab that brekky!
I had the Breakfast of Champions which was sooooo good! It has a stack of thick-cut bacon, foie gras, red berry fruit compote, and sunny side up egg, tucked in a brioche bun, finished with hollandaise and maple syrup. Everything just blended really well!

4. Banh Mi Kitchen
Of course, no one could serve Banh Mi Sandwiches better that Banh Mi Kitchen! I'm actually a fan of their sandwiches because their sauce just really hit that spot on my palette, plus their crunchy buns is so addicting because it compliments the ingredients used in the sandwich.
They have a new flavor-Buffalo Chicken Chicharrones. Don't forget to do the #CrunchTest!

5. Toast Asian Kitchen & Tasting Room
Toast has always been a favorite of mine when it comes to asian fusion dishes because I like how they are able to innovate their dishes that they truly make their own. My favorite from their signature dish is the Longganisa Pasta because it's so fun to eat how the longganisa bits compliments the pasta.

They launched their new dishes. Check out some photos below.

Toast Kitchen is located at the Ayala Malls The 30th in Pasig. You can reserve a table at 02-622-4312
