Photography Series: Shooting with a Kit Lens?!

Welcome to my photography series where I will be sharing tips and tricks in taking great photos. But just to be clear, I'm not a professional photographer, just a photography enthusiast. The reason for this series is I want to learn more on what I could do when it comes to photography, because I really love photography but was never brave to talk about it for personal reasons. Together, we will learn about photography.
I believe photography is about creativity and how you would capture a moment from your own perspective. But as a blogger, my friends and I always shoot ootds, flatlay, etc. so I'm more leaning to Fashion Photography but NOT limiting myself to other aspects.
I'm using a mirrorless camera that I just won from a giveaway contest! I don't have a prime lens such as the 35mm, 50mm, or even 85mm. I just use the kit lens that came with the camera.
So here are sample photos that I've taken with my camera.

Photography is not about having the most expensive equipment, some people would even have zoom lens but doesn't know how to use them. It's not about shooting how it looks like, but shooting how it feels like.
