Losing weight with HCG drops?

The holidays are coming and what are holidays without the food? A lot of us gain a big amount of weight especially during the holidays and we find it hard to lose them.


Personally, it has always been a struggle for me to shed off some pounds because I'm not a fan of working out so I opt to drink slimming teas instead, but side effects of slimming teas could be painful and embarrassing at times. Slimming tea is a kind of laxative that pushes your digestive system to flush waste. I would sometimes wake up at 3-4am because of abdominal pain I get from slimming tea.
I recently discovered HCG Drops. HCG is a hormone found in pregnant women that actually facilitates the process of accessing your “abnormal fat” so that you burn that for fuel instead of going into starvation mode.

How To Use It?

You take 10 drops under your tongue 30 minutes before or after meals, three times a day.  The first two days, you eat as much as you can, maintaining a constant feeling of “stuffed.”  This is to load up your fat reserves, which makes the diet go smoothly afterward.  After that, you are limited in the kinds of foods you can eat, which are detailed on the paper you get along with the drops, but you basically eat two meals a day with 4 oz of lean protein and veggies.  You also get two servings of fruit a day.  You’re only eating about 500 calories a day.
My Experience:

This is a hard protocol to follow! Especially if you go out with friends and attend events a lot, you will have  a hard time following it. It's awkward if you're the only person not eating in a table of bloggers enjoying their food, especially when the food is free, you just can't say no and I find it disrespectful if you're the only one not eating, it just shows how unsociable you are.

So I tried following the protocol for a week. I opted to do 15 drops in the morning and 15 in the afternoon because it's a hassle bringing the bottle everywhere you go.

What I liked about it:
  • Suppressed my appetite.
  • No bad side effects(ie, abdominal pain, watery poop, headache)
  • Works Fast
If you're thinking of doing this diet, you have to be motivated in doing it because limiting yourself with a 500 calorie meal per day is no joke especially if you're busy running errands, doing work, going places.

I lost 3 pounds after 3 days and I always try drink lots of water just to fill myself and not feel the hunger. If you're thinking why just 3 pounds, it's because I cheat especially on events. :)) I will be updating this blog after the 1 month program.
